GPT Advertising Families

So a couple days ago I had an AHA! moment. I had just integrated another Gmail address into the mix for offers completions. The first survey I did with the new e-mail address was Surveys 4 Fun. I completed that, closed it out, submitted it, cleared my cookies, and started on a Winning Surveys offer. I put in the same new e-mail address for this survey, and it ALREADY has it in the system. But wait! I was doing a different survey from a different company! I sat stumped for a few…then I realized that I hadn’t taken into account the survey families, a.k.a. surveys that use the same database.

So what does this mean to us? Quite possibly using a new, unique e-mail with each and every offer within a survey family. Just keep this in the back of your mind while filling out surveys. Please note: this is more of a personal brainstorm than anything else. I cannot prove this; I am just going off my recent experience.

Yours truly has a list of 3 “survey families.” I will add more as I become aware of them. Two of the families I had already known about, one was generously given to be by a GPT site admin. Here are the 3 families I have so far, feel free to e-mail me with additional families.

1. My Insider Deals (MID), Get the Look (GTL), Aisle #7 (A#7), Recipes for Life (R4L), Hunt for the Money (HFTM), SE, DJFY, ERC.

 2. Winning Surveys (WS), Surveys4Fun (S4F or SFF), Consumer Expressions (CE), What She Has to Say (WSHTS), Consumer Beat (CB), Win Moolah! (WM) and SurveyNetwork (SN).

3. Consumer Promotion Center (CPC), Hot Gift Zone (HGZ), and Generous Genie (GG).

4. Eye on The Prize (EOTP) and Must Have Free Gifts (MHFG).

Please feel free to comment and share your thoughts on this or add to this list!
